Ripple Waterfalls is a scenic waterfall located near Sree Narayanapuram, near Rajakkad, about 20 kilometers from Munnar town, in the Idukki district of Kerala. Managed and maintained by the District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) Idukki, the waterfall is a popular destination for nature lovers, photographers, and trekkers. There are fences built along the waterfall and stream making it a safe place to visit with Children.

If you prefer to take things at a slower pace, there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the scenery. The zipline costs 500 for a round trip, while entry to the waterfall area is just 20 per person. The area around the waterfall is filled with a diverse range of plants and animals that are unique to the region. The best time to visit the waterfalls is in the mornings, from October to February for a safer visit with pleasant weather. Ripple Waterfalls can be easily reached by road and is open from 8 AM to 6 PM on all days. The nearest railway station is Aluva Railway Station, located about 98 kilometers away. The closest airport is the Cochin International Airport, which is approximately 97 kilometers away from the falls.
If you’re staying in Munnar, consider taking the DTPC village bus tour to reach the waterfall effortlessly. The tour package costs NR 400 per person and it also includes a visit to Chinnakanal, Anayirankal Dam View Point, Lockhart Gap View, etc.
