Swargam Kunnu: A Majestic Trek to a Picturesque Hilltop

One has to cross Marippuzha through the scary and unstable suspension bridge built across the heavily flowing water stream. The bridge is made entirely of gourd wood, it’s sure to get your heart racing. From there, a trek through dense forest is required to reach the picturesque destination of Swargam Kunnu. Though the trek is a bit risky, the stunning views of Swargam Kunnu make it all worth it.

Swargam Kunnu is located 14 kilometers away from Kodenchery, 1.5 kilometers away from Marippuzha, and 15 kilometers away from Thusharagiri Waterfalls. Swargam Kunnu is accessible anytime throughout the year, but we recommend strictly avoiding the monsoon season and returning before 5 PM. The nearest railway station is Calicut railway station (52 kilometers away), and the closest airport is Calicut International Airport (61 kilometers away).
