The village offers numerous boating options as well as a well-equipped children’s park, a paddling pool, a swimming pool for adults, an Air Force Museum with a Simulator, and a Cycling Park.
For those who love nature and wildlife, Akkulam Lake offers ample opportunities to observe and appreciate its biodiversity. The lake hosts several species of birds, such as kingfishers, herons, egrets, cormorants, and ducks that can be seen perched on trees or gliding on water. The lake also harbors fish such as pearl spot (Karimeen), catfish (Manjakoori), and tilapia that are caught by local fishermen using traditional methods.
