Amritapuri Ashram

Amritapuri Ashram or Mata Amritanandamayi Math is a spiritual community and retreat center located in the Kollam district of Kerala. It was founded by the humanitarian and spiritual leader Amma (also known as Mata Amritanandamayi) and is the headquarters of her organization, the Mata Amritanandamayi Math (MAM).

Amritapuri Ashram is located in Amritapuri, 9 kilometers from Karunagappally and 35 kilometers from Kollam, with easy access from Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi. The ashram is about 96 km north of Thiruvananthapuram and 111 km south of Kochi.

To reach the ashram, you can travel by air, train, bus, or car. The nearest airport is Trivandrum International Airport (115 km away), while the nearest railway station is Kayankulam Junction (15 km away). Buses from major Kerala cities connect to Kollam, and from there, taxis or auto-rickshaws can take you to the ashram. The ashram is also accessible by car via National Highway 66.
