Arippara Waterfalls

Arippara Waterfalls is a popular tourist spot located near Anakkampoyil village in the Kozhikode district of Kerala. The waterfall is on one of the tributaries of the Iruvanji River, known as Iruvanjipuzha. It is surrounded by great natural beauty, with water flowing through huge flat rocks and dropping at different places (usually 10-20 feet high). The thick green forest on both shores of the river enhances the beauty of the place.

The entry fee for Arippara Falls is INR 10, with an additional charge of INR 30 for car parking. Open every day of the week, the best time to visit is between October and March. The waterfall is located on the Thiruvambady – Anakkampoyil route, 15 kilometers from Thiruvambadi. The nearest railway station is Kozhikode, 44 kilometers away, and the closest airport is Calicut International Airport, 53 kilometers away.
