Chavakkad Beach is a beach located in Chavakkad Municipality in the Thrissur District of Kerala State. It lies on the coast of the Arabian Sea and draws local residents and domestic visitors. The beach is 5 kilometers from Sri Krishna Temple in Guruvayoor Town. The river meets the sea, known as the estuary, at this shore. The meeting place is known in Malayalam as Azhimokam. As the beach is unexplored by domestic visitors, it is counted among Kerala’s most popular beaches.
