Cheeyappara Waterfalls is located 43 kilometers from Munnar between Neriamangalam and Adimali, on the Cochin-Madurai highway. Cheeyappara Waterfalls cascades down in seven steps and is a great spot for trekking. In the Idukki district, the Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls are two of the best trekking spots. Many tourists pass by these waterfalls on their way to Munnar, and it is gradually becoming a tourist hotspot. There is a deep canopy of trees all around, and various uncommon plant and animal species can be found in the area.
