Goa Science Centre & Planetarium

Nestled in the heart of Miramar, Panjim, the Goa Science Centre & Planetarium stands as a beacon of scientific exploration and education in Goa. Established in 2001, this five-acre facility is a collaborative endeavor between the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) and Goa’s Department of Science, Technology & Environment. Visitors can immerse themselves in thematic galleries such as Fun Science and Science of Oceans, each offering hands-on displays that elucidate various scientific principles. Planetarium and 3D Shows

A standout feature of the Centre is its digital planetarium, which offers daily cosmic shows that transport audiences on a journey through the cosmos. Complementing this are thrilling 3D science shows that provide immersive experiences into the wonders of science and technology. These shows are scheduled at various times throughout the day, ensuring visitors can plan their visit to maximize their experience.

Visitor Information

The Goa Science Centre & Planetarium operates daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, except for Diwali and Holi. Entry fees are structured to be affordable, with general visitors paying INR 30 for Centre entry, INR 50 for the planetarium, and INR 30 for the 3D show. Package tickets are also available, offering combined access to multiple attractions at a discounted rate. For organized school groups and students from government or municipal schools, further concessions are provided to encourage educational visits.
