The entry fee for Kariyathumpara and Thonikadavu (together) is INR 30 Per Person. The place is open for visitors from 9 AM to 6 PM all days of the week and the best time to visit is from October to March when the weather is pleasant. Kariyathumpara is located 8 kilometers away from Koorachund and one can reach there easily by road. Those coming from Kozhikode, which is 46 kilometers away, can take the Balussery-Koorachunde-Kallanode route to reach Kariyathumpara. The nearest railway station is Kozhikode railway station and the closest airport is Calicut International Airport located 62 kilometers away.
