Kerala Secretariat

The Kerala Secretariat, located in Thiruvananthapuram, is where the Kerala government is headquartered and where significant ministries and administrative agencies are housed. The State Government of Kerala can exercise its executive authority at this level, which is the highest in the state administrative hierarchy. The set of departments is referred to as the secretariat. Ministers serve as its political leaders, and Secretaries to the Government serve as its administrative leaders. The Government Secretariat is a well-known landmark in the center of Thiruvananthapuram City’s Narmada Road. The Travancore Kingdom’s Durbar Hall was the original purpose for which the Secretariat complex was built.
