Maramala Waterfalls, also known as Marmala Falls, is a well-liked tourist spot found in Teekoy village of Kottayam district of Kerala. The waterfall descends from a height of 60 meters and is surrounded by thick vegetation making it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts seeking adventure.
To get to the falls, visitors need to trek from Teekoy, a rubber estate, for approximately 5 km off-road followed by a 2 km trek. The falls can be visited year-round, but the best time is during early monsoons. Maramala Waterfalls is also a popular stopover for those en route to Vagamon Hill Station. It is located amidst dense rubber plantations, adding to its natural beauty. The falls eventually join the Teekoy River after flowing for about 200 meters.
Maramala Waterfalls is not recommended for families, kids, or seniors due to the lack of safety measures and lifeguards, but is perfect for adventurous youngsters during monsoons. Bathing is not possible due to slippery rocks, and there are no nearby shops or mobile signals. There are no restrictions or entry fees but visitors must be careful of slippery or loose rocks and changing water levels.

Pala is the nearest railway station, about 25 kilometers away. The closest airport is Cochin International Airport which is located 92 kilometers away from Marmala falls.
