It’s best to park at the Higher Secondary School grounds, half a kilometer away. Surely, it’s a perfect stress-busting option away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Meenpidi Para is well-maintained and managed by the district tourism development department and is open all days of the week from 7 AM to 6 PM. The best time to visit Meenpidi Para is from October to March. The entrance fee is INR 20 for adults and INR 10 for children. Meenpidi Para is located just about 1.5 kilometers away from Kottarakara town. One can reach here by road easily, and public transportation is also available.  The nearest railway station is at Kottarakara, and the closest airport is Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, located 74 kilometers away from Meenpidi Para.
