The Reis Magos Church, dedicated to St. Jerome, was the first church built in the Bardez taluka. Its construction marked a significant milestone in the spread of Christianity in the region. Notably, the interior was refurbished in 1771, and the distinctive towers were added around 1776, enhancing its grandeur.

Situated near the Reis Magos Fort, the church offers visitors a glimpse into Goa’s historical tapestry. The church is open daily from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with Mass held on weekdays at 7:30 AM and on Sundays at 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM. Visitors are encouraged to explore the church’s interiors, which house intricate wood reliefs and the revered shrine to Our Lady of Health.
