Thaickal Beach

Thaickal Beach is a small fishing hamlet located in the Alappuzha district of Kerala. It is situated near Cherthala, north of Alleppey, and is known for its serene atmosphere and beautiful sunset. Visit Thaickal Beach

The beach is located near the pilgrimage spot Arthunkal, which is famous for the St. Andrews Forane Church, built in 1581. Arthunkal beach (3 kilometers), Andhakaranazhi Beach (7 kilometers), Mararikulam Beach (9 kilometers), and Alappuzha beach (22 kilometers) are nearby Thaickal Beach. Thaickal beach is easily accessible by road, but the narrow roads can be a hassle to park your vehicle. You can reach the beach by taking a bus or a taxi from Alappuzha or Cherthala. The nearest railway station is at Cherthala, located 6.5 kilometers away, and the closest airport is Cochin International Airport, which is located 64 kilometers away from Thaickal beach.
