There is no fee to enter Thanni beach, and it is accessible on all days of the week. The best time to visit Thanni Beach is during the evenings from November to March.  Thanni Beach is situated 10 kilometers away from Kollam town and 5.5 kilometers away from Paravur. The beach can be accessed either by traveling along the coastal road from Kollam Beach or through the Thanni bridge from Mayyanadu. The nearest railway station is Kollam Junction (10 kilometers), and the closest airport is Thiruvananthapuram International Airport (59 kilometers).
