Chittipara Rock

Chittipara Rock is a solid granite peak located in the Western Ghats foothills of Kerala. The rock is situated on the way to the tourist point Ponmudi when traveling from Trivandrum and is not frequently visited by non-locals. Chittipara Rock is spread across 12 acres and is 1,600 feet above sea level, offering mesmerizing views of the sunrise. The best time to visit Chittipara Rock is from October to February when the weather is pleasant and cool. One can take a taxi or bus from Thiruvananthapuram to reach Chittipara. The closest airport and railway stations are located at Thiruvananthapuram located 30 kilometers away.
