Alorna Fort is easily accessible for visitors. Situated in Pernem, it is approximately 10 kilometers from Malpem and 30 kilometers from Mapusa. You can reach the fort by driving, taking a bus, or hiring a taxi. The fort is open for visitors from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM everyday.
The best time to visit Alorna Fort is from November to February, during the winter season, when the weather is pleasant. Alternatively, visiting from April to July offers a great chance to enjoy the sunset by the river, while September marks the beginning of the monsoon season for a breezy experience.
