The road conditions are quite poor, so it might be more convenient to travel to this location using a two-wheeler vehicle. Visitors can park their vehicles at the nearby parking area and take a short hike to reach the viewpoint itself. Just keep in mind that Google Maps may not be entirely accurate in locating this spot. The trek to the top is approximately one kilometer, which might be a bit challenging and take around 30 minutes. It’s worth mentioning that the area is home to a diverse range of wildlife, such as elephants, leopards, and bears, so be sure to follow safety protocols.

Best Time to Visit Anappara View Point

To fully experience the magical ambiance of this place, the recommend visiting time is in the early morning hours, between 5 AM and 6 AM. This is the perfect time to witness the stunning sunrise and feel as though you’re floating above the clouds. If you plan to visit the place after a rainy day, you’ll witness the enchanting spectacle of snowfall.

There is no entry fee to visit Anappara View Point and can be accessed throughout the year. However, the best season to visit Anappara View Point is between October and March, as the weather during this period is usually pleasant and clear, providing a great opportunity to witness the breathtaking views. However, if you don’t mind getting wet and enjoying the misty atmosphere, you can also visit during the monsoon season. Please be mindful that the road leading to the viewpoint may become difficult to navigate during heavy rainfall, so exercise caution while traveling.
