Nestled at the foothills of the Western Ghats, in Mollem National Park, Goa, Atreya Vedic Farm offers a unique eco-tourism experience. Founded by environmental activist Nirmala Sawant, the 36-acre estate encompasses sylvan forest land, tropical gardens, orchards, and a medicinal plantation known as Charak Vatika.
Explore Nature, Culture, and Cuisine at Atreya Vedic Farm
Visitors can explore the astrological plant park, enjoy wildlife and bird watching, and visit the butterfly house. The farm also features a restaurant serving traditional Goan cuisine, prepared with fresh, organic spices grown on-site. A souvenir shop offers farm-grown spices for purchase. Guided tours provide insights into the various plants and their uses, and guests can enjoy a buffet lunch featuring both vegetarian and non-vegetarian Goan dishes.
Atreya Vedic Farm is open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM. The entry fee is typically around INR 500 per person, which includes a guided tour of the farm and a buffet lunch. The farm is located in Molem, which is easily accessible by car or local transport from Ponda or Panjim.
