The Basilica of Bom Jesus, located in Old Goa, India, stands as a testament to Baroque architecture and Portuguese colonial influence. The basilica is open to visitors Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm, and on Sundays from 11 am to 5 pm. Mass is held on weekdays at 7 am in Konkani and 8 am in English, and on Sundays at 7 am and 8 am in Konkani, and 9:15 am in English. There is no entrance fee, but donations are appreciated to support the maintenance of this historic site.
Modest attire is recommended to respect the sanctity of the church. The period from October to March offers the most pleasant weather for sightseeing, making it an ideal time to visit.
