The tickets to enter the forest boundary of the private Braemore estate needs to be obtained from the government check post located before the Mankayam waterfalls; the entry fee is INR 200 per person for a day. To reach Braemore Marigold Estate, visitors can take KSRTC buses from East Fort, Thiruvananthapuram. The first bus starts at 6 AM and reaches Braemore Estate by 7:30 AM.
