Haritha Biological Park, located on the banks of the Periyar River at Panamkuzhy in Perumbavoor, was launched in 2015. It boasts a diverse collection of ornamental chickens, fishes, foreign birds, plants, and trees. Unique attractions include arapaima and alligator gar fish, emus, ducks, and various ornamental chickens. The park also features fruit-bearing trees like giant passion fruit, dragon fruit, mangosteen, and jackfruit.

Open daily from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, the park offers a range of activities that include exploring the Bio Garden, experiencing a Fish Spa, and capturing the beauty of the surroundings through photography. Spread across one acre, the park includes an artificial forest and a children’s park, enhancing its appeal to visitors of all ages.
For the best experience, it is recommended to visit in the mornings or evenings. The entry is free, making it a budget-friendly destination for families and solo travelers alike. To get there, visitors can take a train to the nearest railway station in Angamaly, about 25 kilometers away, or fly into Cochin International Airport, which is also around 25 kilometers from the park. The nearest bus stand is Angamaly KSRTC Bus Stand, located approximately 22 kilometers away.
