Though the museum had to temporarily close due to a lockdown, it reopened its doors to tourists after undergoing renovation, welcoming back eager visitors from near and far.

The Konni Elephant Museum is conveniently located just 1 kilometer from Konni and 9 kilometers from Pathanamthitta. Operating hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, except Mondays. Accessing the museum is easy as it is well connected by road, with convenient access from both Konni town and Pathanamthitta town. The entry fee is INR 40 for adults and INR 10 for students. Additionally, there is a parking fee of INR 40.
Konni itself is renowned for its elephant training, attracting a substantial number of visitors each year who come to witness the rich traditions and practices associated with these magnificent creatures.
