The ideal time to visit the falls is from October to March, when the weather is pleasant and dry. The temperature in this region ranges from 15°C to 25°C during that time. There is no entry fee for visiting Madam Waterfalls, but one should obtain prior permission from the forest department to trek through the estate or camp near the waterfall.
The Madam waterfalls lie almost atop the Braemore Estate, near the helipad. To reach Madam Waterfalls, visitors need to pass through the majestic Manchiyam Garden that lies on the way to the next waterfall in the estate. Visitors can take KSRTC buses from East Fort, Thiruvananthapuram, to reach the Braemore estate. The first bus starts at 6 AM and reaches Braemore Estate by 7:30 AM. The nearest railway station to Braemore Estate is Thiruvananthapuram Central (46 kilometers), and the closest airport is Thiruvananthapuram International Airport (49 kilometers).
