Peralassery Temple Pond

Peralassery Temple Pond is located at Peralassery Subramanya temple, a pilgrimage site located 14 kilometers from Kannur city. The temple is thought to be the location where Lord Rama and Lakshmana stopped on their way to Sri Lanka. This occurred when they were attempting to save Sita, according to the Ramayana. Lord Subramanya in serpent form is the main deity, and eggs are the most popular offering. Thousands flock to this holy location because of the huge temple pond, which has countless steps that represent a rare and intricate style of architecture not seen anywhere else in Kerala.
