At Punarjani Traditional Village, you can watch a live Kathakali performance by trained artists and learn about the history and symbolism of this art form. Additionally, you can learn how to make pottery and weave fabrics using traditional methods and materials, enjoy a traditional Kerala feast or Sadya served on a banana leaf, experience a typical Kerala village atmosphere, and take a nature walk along the trails.

Punarjani Traditional Village is located at Pallivasal, 9 kilometers away from Munnar, and is easily accessible by road. The village is open on all days throughout the year, from 8 AM to about 8 PM, with shows running only from 5 PM to 7 PM. The entry fee is Rs. 300 per person for adults and Rs. 200 per person for children.

Experience the vibrant and captivating Kathakali dance-drama, a one-hour performance that begins at 5 PM every day. Before the show, witness the intricate preparation process as the talented artists apply their facial makeup and make final preparations for the awe-inspiring performance.
