Getting There

Accessible by bus, auto-rickshaw, or taxi from Alleppey town, the beach is approximately 7.5 kilometers away. Alternatively, you can rent a car or bike to explore the surrounding villages and other attractions. Punnapra Beach is about 90 kilometers from Cochin International Airport, and it takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach by car or taxi. You can also take a train from Aluva station near the airport to Alappuzha station near Punnapra Beach, which takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Another option is to take a bus from the Ernakulam KSRTC bus stand to the Alappuzha bus stand, which takes about 2 hours.
