Shendurney Wildlife Sanctuary

Shendurney Wildlife Sanctuary (Shendurney Ecotourism) Thenmala is a protected area with safari tours and treks in the Western Ghats of India governed by Agasthyamalai Biosphere Reserve and is situated in the Kollam district of Kerala. It was founded on August 25th, 1984, and it is 172.403 square kilometers in size.

There is no entry fee for Shendurney Wildlife Sanctuary but one should obtain permission from the forest section office which is located a little interior from the main road. Please be very cautious about the wild animals during the trekking and we highly recommend you carry enough water and snacks before you begin the trek.
